Ross Chastain’s suspension involves other racers as well as….

The Athletic’s Jeff Gluck and Jordan Bianchi talked about the last-lap collision between Ross Chastain and Kyle Busch at Sonoma Raceway in the most recent episode of The Teardown.

On the last lap of the Toyota/Save Mart 350, Chastain appeared to spin out Busch, sparking debate over whether the No. 1 intentionally moved the two-time Cup Series winner. Busch undoubtedly thought so, and it appears Gluck feels the same way about the No. 8 wheelman.

Kyle Busch was one person Kyle Larson had to get past as he moved up the field. At the time, I believe it was third place. After the event last week, Larson claimed that as he approached Kyle Busch, he was thinking, “Well, I guess we’re about to find out whether we’re good or not.” He simply ran him clean and let him go. was aware that his tires were newer. played it well. Before it seemed like he was going to finish in the top five, Gluck said, “it looked like he got Chastain’d at the end of the race.” I didn’t hear Chastain’s TV interview, but it sounded like he said something like that.
