Fox Sports’ Bob Pockrass reports that 23XI would probably buy a charter, although team co-owner Denny Hamlin stated on Saturday that they haven’t decided to buy one. Pockrass stated: “Corey Heim, a truck series driver for the team, is now the reserve driver and would be a candidate for that car. Later this month, Heim will compete in Nashville in a third Cup car race for 23XI. Herbst may also be examined if 23XI wants Heim to gain additional experience or if it needs more time to secure Cup money for Heim.After the Cup, Stewart-Haas Racing will no longer be in operation.

Chase Briscoe, Ryan Preece, Josh Berry, and Noah Gragson are the drivers in the Cup Series currently on the roster.
