ATHENS — Jordan “Big Baby” Hall, a sophomore at Georgia, is hoping to make a significant offseason jump for the team.
After last year’s collapse, the defensive line needs more work than any other position group, and the Bulldogs’ chances of winning a title could rest on it.
Nazir Stackhouse and Warren Brinson, two rising seniors, should lead the way up front for Georgia’s defensive line, which finished second in 2021 and led the country in run defense the previous three seasons (2019, 2020, and 2022).
Former 5-star recruit Hall is said to possess the skill to bulk up and back seniors Jordan Davis and Devonte Wyatt on Georgia’s storied “No Name Defense” in 2021 with the kind of fire support Jalen Carter once provided.
- That defense produced seven eventual first-round selections, five of which came from the defensive line.
