After their first spring scrimmage, the Florida State Seminoles are engaged in a real competition for the starting center position for the first time in the previous two seasons. Heisman contender Jordan Travis is headed to the NFL, so FSU has positioned itself to rebuild with DJ Uiagalelei, a transfer from Oregon State, and true freshman Luke Kromenhoek joining the fray to take on sophomore Brock Glenn.
Following Thursday’s scrimmage, head coach Mike Norvell stated, “Brock does have a year within the system, and I would say that even right now Brock has probably a little bit more confidence, maybe in some of the things that he’s being asked to do.”
