Tragically, a former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader passed away from sepsis shortly after giving birth.

Leawood, Kansas, resident Krystal Anderson passed away suddenly last week on March 20, not long after her daughter Charlotte Willow, “who was born at rest,” had a stillbirth. Her obituary was posted online. Anderson was only forty years of age.

“Krissy’s journey took an unexpected turn,” according to a GoFundMe page created to pay for Anderson’s medical bills, the cost of her memorial service, and the creation of a legacy fund, when she was admitted to the hospital in her 21st week of pregnancy.
