Yes, I am aware of the past. Since 2002, the Eagles have not selected a cornerback in the first round. However, everything is possible after Howie Roseman spent a lot of money on a free agency running back! Jokes aside, there are some quality cornerbacks in this draft class, and the Eagles should be able to select one at No. 22 who has the potential to develop into a solid player over time. The Eagles need to go younger because, even with his lackluster performance in the previous campaign, James Bradberry and Darius Slay are still much too old for the position. Though there’s no reason to try, Kelee Ringo showed promise as a rookie fourth-round pick and could end up starting.
