Steelers WR return with a suspension

The Dallas Cowboys and the former wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers have an agreement.Pittsburgh The Dallas Cowboys’ season concluded at the same time as that of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

They will begin the offseason by addressing the reserve/future contracts, which includes former wideout Martavis Bryant from Pittsburgh.

The Cowboys are bringing Bryant back for the summer of 2024, giving the seasoned player another opportunity to establish himself on their squad, according to Aaron Wilson of KRPC-TV. Nov. 7 was Bryant’s original signing date with Dallas’ practice squad upon his NFL reinstatement. After his January 4 discharge, he did not play in any games in 2023.

The Pittsburgh Steelers fourth-round selection hasn’t participated in an NFL contest since 2018. He caught 126 passes for 1,917 yards and 17 touchdowns while he was a player for Pittsburgh. After that, he was moved to the Oakland Raiders, where he only made eight appearances before receiving an extended suspension.

 

Bryant, 31, played for the Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts and Edmonton Elks during his time away from the NFL. He played with the Vegas Vipers in the XFL during the previous spring.
