SAD NEWS: Bama super WR terminate his contracts while the head coach is….
After spring break, the Crimson Tide returns to the practice field, attracting more aspiring student athletes to the Capstone.
Although the Alabama Crimson Tide football team spent this past week’s spring break with the rest of the campus, there was still reason for celebration.
Derick Smith, a four-star wide receiver from Southside Selma High School in Selma, Alabama, became the sixth prospect added by Alabama to the Class of 2025 on Monday. Alabama already has the No. 13 overall recruiting class in the current cycle thanks to Smith’s pledge, but new head coach Kalen DeBoer wants to go farther.
Although it doesn’t seem like any recruits are on campus this weekend, it seems like the Crimson Tide is bringing in a lot of visitors for the second week of spring practice.
Linebacker Abduall Sanders plays for Mater Dei in Santa Ana, California. At 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, Sanders is rated as a 4-star prospect and ranked as the 36th best linebacker and 31st best player in California. Sanders might be the next of Alabama’s excellent recent history of Mater Dei prospects. The Tide’s main rival seems to be the Tennessee Volunteers, since he received an offer from them in February and is scheduled to make an official visit to Knoxville in June.
