The patriot are in talks to add Marvin Lewis to the coaching staff.
According to Albert Breer, the patriot are in talks to add former Cincinnati Bengals head coach, Marvin Lewis, to the coaching staff…
Antonio Pierce was appointed head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders for the first time to guide the group into the future.
Despite having years of experience coaching football at various levels, this is Pierce’s first chance to take the helm as a permanent head coach of a professional football team.
Because Pierce was well aware of his skills and weaknesses, he filled out his coaching team with numerous coaches who have the professional coaching expertise he lacks, from former New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin to former Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis.
In addition, a large number of the coaches Pierce hired have head coaching experience in the National Football League in addition to professional coaching experience.
Pierce therefore has a number of respected coaches in his corner with knowledge that only past head coaches of the NFL can impart.
Lewis, who led the Bengals for 16 seasons, is one of those coaches. As co-defensive coordinators on Arizona State’s coaching staff, he and Pierce worked together as coaches.
