To promote the new “Kung Fu Panda” film, Jack Black has teamed up with Los Angeles Lakers stars Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves.
A commercial for “Kung Fu Panda 4,” which is scheduled for release on March 8, 2024, featured Davis, Reaves, and Black. This week, the advertisement was shared. DreamWorks Animation produced the movie, which Universal Pictures will release.
Black challenges Davis and Reaves to “master the art of the skadoosh” and “learn the ways of the dragon warrior” in the advertisement. As they shot hoops, Davis and Reaves can be heard yelling, “skadoosh!” Naturally, Black provides Po’s voice in the movie series.
When Davis and Reaves aren’t busy perfecting the “skadoosh,” they’re trying to get the Lakers into the playoffs. Davis is averaging 24.8 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game for the Lakers this season. Reaves has averaged 4.0 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 15.7 points. When the Lakers play the Washington Wizards on Thursday night, both players will be back in action.
