Washington: On January 13, in their former coach Ime Udoka’s return to TD Garden, Boston defeated Houston 145-113 to maintain their home winning record. Jaylen Brown scored 32 points and Jayson Tatum added 27.
The Celtics extended their team-record winning streak to 19 games to open the season, and they advanced to a National Basketball Association-best 30-9 overall. They are the only team in the league to remain unbeaten at home.
