DANIELS MET WITH COMMANDERS ON FEBRUARY 28 This week at the NFL Combine, the Washington Commanders will be meeting with the top prospects; they may have already had a seat across from the prospective No. 2 overall choice.
The current Heisman Trophy winner from LSU, Jayden Daniels, has met with the Commanders, according to NFL Network source Ian Rapoport.
Daniels is in competition with other players, including Drake Maye of North Carolina, to be the first quarterback off the board following Caleb Williams of USC.

“The unprecedented $30 million increase per club in this year’s Salary Cap is the result of the full repayment of all amounts advanced by the clubs and deferred by the players during the Covid pandemic,” said Pelissero. “As well as an extraordinary increase in media revenue for the 2024 season.”
