SO SAD :BAD NEWS FOR OHIO STATE COACH

The 2024 offseason’s first college football recruiting dead period is almost over. As teams begin spring practices, prospects may visit again starting on March 4. During that time, many of the top recruits in the country will strengthen their ties to schools and possibly even make announcements about their commitments. Over the weekend, four prominent prospects revealed their March and April visitation schedules.

Spring visits were gained by Jaime Ffrench and Kaliq Lockett, two of the top five wide receivers in the 2025 class, as well as by highly anticipated edge rusher Nasir Wyatt and productive running back Bo Jackson.

On The College Football Recruiting Show, recruiting analyst Blair Angulo discussed each of those four prospects, their qualities, and the most recent information regarding their decision-making procedures. Ohio State, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, and other prestigious teams are among the universities taking part in the search for those playmakers.

Half a year later, a lot has changed in Tuscaloosa, and several other schools are still very much in the running for the No. 4 receiving prospect in the country, Jaime Ffrench, whom Alabama made headway on last summer by earning Crystal Ball Predictions. Although Ffrench has long been a target for recruiters, his performance as the team’s top receiver on an 11-4 Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin squad that competed for a state championship last season gave him a lot of momentum. In that junior season, he caught 62 passes for 1,247 yards and 14 touchdowns.
