2024 NRL Top 17: Canterbury Bulldogs
In the off-season, the Canterbury Bulldogs made some surprising additions, but now it’s time to see how the puzzle fits together precisely.
Canterbury needed forwards, as most fans and commentators would have told anybody who would listen. However, their off-season hiring binge has produced a number of utilities, making them one of the competition’s hardest teams to pick for 2024.
The Bulldogs have also added Josh Curran from the New Zealand Warriors and Stephen Crichton on fullback money from the Penrith Panthers, who was released from the balance of his contract in Auckland late in the off-season, raising questions among the utilities.
After a disappointing season, Canterbury will need to improve in Cameron Ciraldo’s second season as manager.
