BREAKING NEWS:TAR HEEL TOP QB PLAYER HAS ANNOUNCE RESIGNATION DUE TO..

Junior Jasper Johnson of Link Academy (Mo.), a teammate of 2024 UNC basketball signee James Brown and a lifelong Tar Heel supporter, hasn’t officially eliminated any of the top 10 suitors he announced in late January. However, through his scheduled visits thus far, the 6-foot-4, 170-pound guard has made suggestions about possible top contenders.

Johnson visited UNC earlier this month. He is a five-star talent who is ranked No. 12 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite. Coinciding with the Tar Heels’ home victory over archrival Duke, it was an official visit.

In addition, he has visited West Virginia, Kentucky, Auburn, Missouri, and most recently, Kentucky.

Furthermore, as per a report published on Friday morning by Joe Tipton of On3, Johnson has scheduled his sixth formal visit in his recruitment process. The first weekend in March, he will travel to Baylor.

Of the ten schools he has ranked, Louisville, Alabama, Southern California, and Kansas are the only ones without a visit booked by him.

Johnson has stated that his intention is to stay in 2025, at least for the time being, however he hasn’t completely ruled out the prospect of moving to 2024.

He is joined on the UNC basketball staff’s offer sheet by eight other players in his class, all of them are five-star prospects. Nobody has pledged allegiance to the Tar Heels or removed them from
