SAD NEWS: Sam Francisco head coach Kyle Michael Shanahan announced his departure and also….
The San Francisco 49ers, who were probably the finest team in the NFL for the whole of 2023, are coming off a devastating Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
With stars all around them, including running back Christian McCaffrey, receiver Deebo Samuel, tight end George Kittle, and promising young quarterback Brock Purdy, the team’s future is still bright.
However, ESPN analyst Dan Graziano speculates that San Francisco may try to trade away one of their star playmakers this offseason.
In order to address other team needs this summer, Graziano believes the 49ers should consider trading for standout receiver Brandon Aiyuk.
The analyst believes that in order to free up cap space this offseason, the 49ers will probably have to make a difficult choice that may require them to deal away the top receiver.
Aiyuk has amassed 3,931 receiving yards, 269 grabs, and 25 touchdowns with San Francisco since joining the league in 2020. He has improved with each passing season and has already caught over 1,000 yards in the last two.
