The goal of the Kentucky Wildcats’ trip to Baton Rouge today to play the LSU Tigers was to win on the road for the second straight game. The Cats added a terrible defeat to their record at the buzzer, falling 75-74, after having briefly appeared to be on the verge of a blowout victory.

The opening six minutes of tonight’s game saw the Cats revert to their track-meet style of play, which has characterized their play for the bulk of the season, following their outstanding defensive performance against Auburn on Saturday.
