Samuela Fainu, a forward for the Wests Tigers, has entered an early guilty plea to a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge related to the team’s 18–16 NRL Pre-season Challenge victory over the Warriors on Sunday.

The incident happened in Christchurch shortly before halftime, when Fainu tackled Warriors forward Jacob Laban.

With an early guilty plea and a $1000 fine, Fainu has entered the agreement. He is eligible to be selected for the Pre-season Challenge game against the Dragons in Mudgee on Saturday.
