The Green Bay Packers are looking for a new CEO.

WBAY, Green Bay, Wisconsin The Green Bay Packers are getting ready for CEO and president Mark Murphy’s impending retirement.

Murphy will turn 70 in July 2025, at which point he must retire. The Packers said on Wednesday that they were looking for his replacement.

The national search firm Korn Ferry was engaged by the Packers to form a search committee, and the company’s recommendation was that Murphy replace Bob Harlan in 2007. January 2008 saw Murphy officially take over the position.

The search committee’s officers and members are:

Executive Committee member Marcia Anderson
Vice-chair of the search committee will be Dan Ariens, executive committee secretary and chair of the personnel and compensation committee.
Chair of the Packers Foundation, Michael Barber
Mike Daniels is an at-large board member.
Robyn Davis is an at-large board member.
Susan Finco, Executive Committee of the Packers

Before recommending a candidate to the board of directors, the committee anticipates that the process will take six to nine months to complete. The schedule enables Murphy’s retirement and the future CEO to collaborate.

Finco said in a statement, “Mark’s contributions to the organization have been tremendous.” “Mark continues to set up the Packers for success, from modernizing the corporate leadership structure to expanding and diversifying revenue to enhancing the team’s significant community influence. We anticipate an intelligent leadership from him over the next 18 months.

Titletown, an office, residential, and entertainment zone located across the street from Lambeau Field, was established during Murphy’s administration.
