Oregon Ducks as Head Coach Dan Lanning delivers a six-word

Good news for the Oregon Ducks as Head Coach Dan Lanning delivers a six-word message confirming…

Despite their success, the Oregon Ducks lacked many elite players in the NFL draft circles, even though they were among the top collegiate football teams this season.

While defensive lineman Derrick Harmon and left tackle Josh Conerly Jr. are anticipated to be picked in the middle of the first round, the team’s top players—QB Dillon Gabriel, wide receiver Tez Johnson, running back Jordan James, and defensive end Jordan Burch—have been largely regarded as Day 2 prospects in April.

However, some of those players are beginning to make an impression and witness a sharp increase in their draft stock in the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Tez Johnson and tight end Terrance Ferguson were those players on Tuesday. They dominated the competition during exercises in Mobile.

When some of the country’s top defensive backs lined up on Johnson during one-on-one drills, he reportedly became unguardable.

At five feet nine and 156 pounds, Johnson doesn’t have the perfect physique for an NFL wide receiver, but his speed and elusiveness more than make up for it. Johnson was one of the Ducks’ top performers during the Dan Lanning era, recording 169 receptions for 2,080 yards and 20 touchdowns in two seasons at Oregon.

Ferguson, meanwhile, attracted a lot of attention at the Senior Bowl by utilizing his impressive physique and exceptional speed to move defenders off of him and open up the field. Oregon Ducks as Head Coach Dan Lanning delivers a six-word

In his four years with the Ducks, Ferguson, who stands six feet five and weighs 255 pounds, has been a successful pass-catcher in Eugene, hauling in 134 catches for 1,537 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Many people will either assist or hinder their draft value with additional yeses on them while the pre-draft process is still ongoing for players across. But so far, it seems like this duo of Ducks is doing a fantastic job at drawing attention.
