Good news for the Nashville SC as Head Coach B.J. Callaghan delivers a six-word message confirming… On January 27, 2025, Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville Soccer Club revealed a new strategic partnership aimed at growing the sport of soccer across Tennessee. This collaboration will provide Tennessee Soccer State Association (TSSA) members with exclusive benefits, including special ticket deals for selected 2025 Nashville SC games at GEODIS Park for registered players, as well as appearances by Tempo the Coyote and Nashville SC players at TSSA events, among other perks.
Nashville SC Director of Youth Soccer Kevin Stevenson stated, “This strategic partnership with the TSSA demonstrates Nashville Soccer Club’s dedication to expanding our game and assisting youth soccer players, coaches, and families throughout our state.” “As we offer improved benefits and resources to both new and current members, we are excited to support the TSSA in its mission.”
The Tennessee Soccer State Association (TSSA), with over 50,000 youth and adult members and 100 member associations across the state, is dedicated to growing and advancing soccer in Tennessee through various partnerships and promotion of the sport. This includes programs such as TOPSoccer, which provides community-based training and team placements for young athletes with disabilities, and an Olympic Development Program that identifies players with the potential to represent Regional and U.S. Youth National Teams. Additionally, the TSSA oversees the largest youth soccer league in Tennessee, where 300 to 400 teams compete each season for a chance to qualify for the TSSA State Cup.
The TSSA is a part of the broader U.S. and global soccer network, affiliated with organizations such as the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA), United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA), United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and FIFA.
“We are thrilled to partner with Nashville Soccer Club,” said TSSA CEO Hans Hobson. “This partnership gives every player registered with TSSA the opportunity to experience the highest level of soccer in our country, and this pathway will play a crucial role in furthering our efforts to grow the game of soccer across Tennessee.”
