With Ohio State’s victory over Notre Dame to claim the National Championship, the college football season has officially come to an end. This season stood out from previous ones, largely due to the expansion of the College Football Playoff to 12 teams.
Despite losing two games in the regular season and missing out on the Big Ten Championship this year, Ohio State still had a chance to win a national championship because of the enlarged playoffs. And happily for Buckeyes supporters, they did, as they demonstrated that they were this season’s top squad.
However, all of this is behind us now, and everyone is focused on the future and what to anticipate in the upcoming season in 2025. Going into the fall, Georgia football’s objectives are still the same. participating in and taking home a National Championship.
Given all of the turmoil Kirby Smart and UGA have experienced this offseason, achieving that goal will be extremely challenging, but, according to recent rankings, Georgia has a strong chance of winning both the SEC and the National Championship the following season.

Although it’s not a bad prediction, Georgia supporters will all be hoping for another National Championship before the 2029 campaign. It’s good to see UGA mentioned twice because there are a lot of programs that are expected to contend and win a title but weren’t even featured.
The majority of Georgia fans would likely be happy to accept a national championship if this scenario materializes, even though they will prefer one before 2029. The fact that no Georgia rival is expected to win a championship during this time frame is the additional upside to this. No one would be shocked if Texas and Alabama won one in the future, even though some other SEC teams are represented. However, in order to maintain their position as the best program in the nation, Georgia should be able to win a few titles soon.
