Johnson would be fortunate to remain in the Power 4 on his next try because he entered the portal with so little film. He might have been able to see the field in 2023 if he had remained with Ohio State. Rather, he departed in search of what he believed to be better opportunities.
Johnson is incredibly talented. Since he was formerly a four-star recruit, a team will undoubtedly sign him. In 2022, he was a redshirt freshman and played a little. He shown glimmers of skill as a player in those few shots. His time in college is already coming to an end.
