Aaron Jones, the running back for the Minnesota Vikings, recently interviewed two of the team’s standout players, Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson, ahead of their Week 13 game against the Arizona Cardinals. In the interview, Jones took on the role of reporter, asking Addison and Jefferson several insightful questions about the NFL season.
Before the interview officially began, Jones jokingly tweeted about Fox Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews. “What’s up, fellas,” Jones said. “You guys think it’s Erin Andrews? Nah, it’s me.” Pleased with his own reporting, Jones later shared a response from Andrews, who humorously replied, “You’re way better than me.”
A few days ago, Jones might have been preoccupied with his interviews with Jefferson and Addison, but as Sunday approached, attention swiftly shifted to the team’s game versus the Cardinals. Jones contributed to the Vikings’ 23–22 triumph. On five carries, the Minnesota running back gained 22 yards. In addition, he caught three passes for six yards and one touchdown. With the victory in Week 13, Jones and the Vikings improved to 10-2 on the season.
In Week 13, Andrews and the Fox Sports team traveled to Dallas, Texas, to cover a Thanksgiving Day game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. The Cowboys prevailed 27–20 in the game on Thursday night.
