The Golden State Warriors continue to struggle in the 2023-24 NBA season following a loss against the Atlanta Hawks.

The game went to overtime and featured Stephen Curry dropping a season-high 60 points, but it wasn’t enough for the Warriors to avoid a 134-141 loss against the Hawks.

Regardless of the defeat, it was undoubtedly a memorable game for the fanbase of Stephen Curry as he went on a scoring outburst.

Speaking of which, Warriors rookie Brandin Podziemski shared his honest views on Curry’s 60-point performance against the Hawks during the postgame conference via Warriors on NBCS on Twitter.

“To see him have 60 and be super efficient … and not get the calls like other superstars get in the league, it’s pretty impressive,” Podziemski said.

Podziemski was thoroughly impressed by Curry’s sensational scoring despite not getting superstar foul calls from referees, like many other players in the league.

On top of that, Podziemski praised Curry for being efficient while having a high-scoring game.

To put things into perspective, Curry scored 60 points while shooting 22-of-38 from the floor, including a 10-of-23 performance from the three-point line.

Apart from scoring 60 points, Curry also had 5 rebounds and 5 assists to his name in the seven-point loss to the Hawks.

Many will assume that Curry’s amazing performance should have been enough to help the Warriors win the game.

Well, as good as Curry played, Klay Thompson’s poor performance overshadowed the two-time NBA MVP’s night.

Thompson finished the game with just 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in 39 minutes of playing time.

He shot 4-of-19 from the field and an abysmal 2-of-13 from the three-point line.0uh
