At Acrisure Stadium on Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens (7-3) will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-2). After Week 11, the matchup will determine whether team is in first position.

The Ravens are on a two-game winning streak going into Pittsburgh. Following a 35-34 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals on “Thursday Night Football” on November 7, the Ravens had a couple extra days to get ready for the Week 11 game.

Eddie Jackson is embarrassed by the Baltimore Ravens.

A seasoned defense who has started four games this season will not play for the Ravens. Safety Eddie Jackson will not travel or play for Baltimore on Sunday, the Ravens announced in a statement on Saturday.

Jackson was once good.

The reason for Jackson’s decision to not join the Pittsburgh team is unknown. The 30-year-old player reads the announcement as a humiliation. Jackson was a healthy scratch for the Ravens’ game against the Denver Broncos in Week 9. (Denver would lose 41–10 to Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium.)

To be honest, Jackson’s abilities seem to be rapidly declining in the NBA.

In the 2019 season, Jackson was named to the Chicago Bears’ All-Pro team. He has appeared in two Pro Bowls. According to Over The Cap, Jackson signed a one-year contract with the Ravens worth $1.5 million prior to the 2024 season. For his 2024 performance, the former Alabama standout received an overall grade of 50.6 from Pro Football Focus.

Jackson is credited with four stops and 23 total tackles. He has also failed to make five tackles. Jackson has given opponents’ quarterbacks a rating of 144.9.

 

A Baltimore Ravens star gets severely punished by the NFL.

This weekend, the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers square off for the top spot in the AFC North. Since their sluggish start to the season, the Ravens have emerged as one of the league’s most exciting teams, and they appear capable of defeating anybody. However, the NFL severely punished one of their best players for a number of offenses during last week’s victory over the Bengals.

According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, standout cornerback Marlon Humphrey was fined $33,766 by the league for his two violations last week, which included a $22,511 fine for wearing the helmet and an additional $11,255 for wearing a facemask.
