There was never any real question about Boone’s return in 2025, especially after he led a team that advanced far in the playoffs for the sixth time in seven seasons. The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated New York in five games in the World Series. During this week’s GM meetings, general manager Brian Cashman declared himself to be a “big Aaron Boone fan,” and it appeared like Boone’s Yankees destiny would soon be revealed.

As the Yankees look to win their first title since 2009, it will be interesting to see if Boone eventually signs a contract or survives this season without a job.

“Aaron brings a calming influence to our clubhouse and has a remarkable talent for building strong relationships with his players,” Cashman commented. “Showing these qualities in a challenging, high-pressure market is what makes him one of the best managers in baseball. While there’s still work ahead, I’m excited to have Aaron back to lead our team in pursuit of the ultimate goal in 2025.”

The most recent Juan Soto report will excite New York Yankees fans.

New York Yankees fans will be delighted with Juan Soto report

In an attempt to lure Juan Soto back to the Bronx, the New York Yankees are beginning to use their full-court press.

The Yankees have also planned a meeting with Soto and his agent, Scott Boras, following reports that New York Mets owner Steve Cohen will meet with them next week.

In the coming week and a half, Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner is scheduled to visit Southern California to meet with the generational talent and his agent, according to Mark W. Sanchez and Jon Heyman of the New York Post.

The New York Yankees are starting to employ their full-court approach in an effort to entice Juan Soto back to the Bronx.

Following rumors that New York Mets owner Steve Cohen will meet with Soto and his agent Scott Boras next week, the Yankees have also scheduled a meeting with them.

The New York Post’s Mark W. Sanchez and Jon Heyman report that Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner will go to Southern California in the next week and a half to meet with the generational talent and his agent.

What is the cost of signing Juan Soto?

If Soto reaches or surpasses Shohei Ohtani’s 10-year, $700 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers—the largest professional sports contract in history—it wouldn’t be shocking.

Cohen has more money than anyone else in the sport. The New York Post stated, “Nobody in the sport is under more pressure to sign Soto than Steinbrenner, whose team hasn’t won a World Series since 2009 and mortgaged part of its future in trading for the outfielder ahead of his walk year.”

According to ESPN’s Kiley McDaniel, Soto will sign a $611 million, 13-year contract. If Soto moves from the Bronx to Queens, it will be a complete catastrophe for the Yankees. The Yankees might suffer years of setbacks if that occurs.
