Kevin Stefanski, head coach, on Baltimore’s final drive:

“That quarterback is exceptional whenever you’re using that offense. It’s going to be difficult. It’s difficult since, as you may imagine, he can injure you with both his arms and legs. We simply sought to make advantage of our three timeouts, give our players a rest, and discuss the situation and our goals with our coaches and players. In the end, we succeeded. The last play was frightening.

Regarding the defense of Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson:

Telling you what we’re going to do is an easy game plan, but carrying it out is difficult. And I genuinely believed the players, and I just remembered what our defense did against a really strong attack last week. They have talented players, therefore they will make their plays. However, I felt that [John Harbaugh] called a fantastic game. We outlasted them because we had the strategy you needed to stop that team.

Regarding the near-interception of Kyle Hamilton:

“I believe Jameis just missed the throw. Elijah (Moore) did well on his run. Elijah performed admirably today, in my opinion. That’s this game, yes. This is a challenging game, and although they will make their plays, we must make ours, and occasionally the ball will linger in midair. I believed Shelby (Harris) had a tip ball that had been up there for a very long time. Thus, it likely takes a few years off of life.

Browns exhale after ending losing skid with win over Ravens

Regarding the Ravens’ blitzing, quarterback Jameis Winston:

“Next play mindset is what we always say. We performed the next play, therefore you must scratch it and go on to the next one.”

On the final drive for the Ravens, S. Rodney McLeod Jr.

“We were aware that they had the league’s best offense. We had to fight and remain strong even though we knew it would be difficult and that some difficult plays would be made. “It feels good to shut down that last drive and win our first game at home because we just kept finding those crucial plays that helped us win.”

Regarding the sun’s influence:

“I’ll be honest; I knew it would play a role in warm-ups. As you can see, the sun’s glare was effective when we were catching deep balls during warmups. It is undeniable that the sun played a role in the game.

To be considered a legitimate contender for the Super Bowl, the Ravens need to address the rising concerns about DC.

What a huge disappointment. The Baltimore Ravens’ 24-29 loss to the Cleveland Browns was devastating, regardless of how you interpret it. Win time is expired, so bid farewell to a possible six-game winning run.

Ravens' trade needs are painfully obvious after ugly loss to Browns

The Ravens were in last place in pass defense going into the game, allowing 287.1 yards per contest. They’ve had trouble stopping anyone in midair. When the Browns revealed that backup quarterback Jameis Winston would start, there was a moment of hope.

Baltimore might eventually start to improve matters by limiting an opponent’s passing attack.

Rather, the Browns, led by Winston, completely destroyed the Ravens’ secondary. Jameis Winston looked like Patrick Mahomes thanks to Baltimore’s defense. The players appeared disoriented on every snap, communication was a complete mess throughout the game, and this secondary was unable to intercept the ball.

And the top is where it begins.

Following a terrible performance against the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens supporters are demanding that Zach Orr be fired.

In a defeat to the Cleveland Browns, powered by Jameis Winston, the Ravens’ defense gave up three touchdowns and another 334 throwing yards.

Since starting corners Nate Wiggins and Marlon Humphrey were declared out before to the game, we knew the secondary would be put to the test. Results are still anticipated, though, as a Super Bowl-caliber squad takes on a backup quarterback.

By all means, Baltimore’s secondary had a “get right” game in this one. It was a chance to demonstrate that it still had enough fuel left to compete. Rather, it was riddled with bad communication, dropped interceptions, and blown coverages. Zach Orr, the defensive coordinator, is firmly on the hot seat as the problems get more obvious by the game.

Attributing the subpar performance to being new to the position would be one thing. However, as we approach the halfway point, the Ravens defense is still dealing with the same issues from Week 1. What changes are being made? Where is the advancement?

Week after week, Baltimore sticks to the same defensive plan in the hopes of seeing a change, but nothing gets better. That’s what madness is all about.

It’s never easy to call for a coach’s job, but when the on-field performance is this poor, it’s difficult to escape the subject. Supporters weren’t holding back, with many calling for this to be Orr’s last game as defensive coordinator for the Ravens.

Finding any silver linings in the Browns’ defeat is difficult. There were missed chances everywhere. Baltimore turned out to be its own worst enemy once more.
