Red Bull and Everton have reached a multiyear arrangement that sets a club record, with the Austrian company becoming Everton’s official energy drink partner.

Red Bull and Everton have partnered together. However, the Blues will not be wearing any red on their uniforms or joining their international football teams.

Rather, Red Bull, the largest energy drink manufacturer in the world, will take Lucozade’s place as the team’s new “Official Energy Drink Partner,” according to an agreement announced by Everton.

No financial details have been released, but as part of the multi-year agreement, which will span both the club’s historic final season at Goodison Park and its move to a new 52,888-seat stadium, Red Bull will have the chance to market their brand internationally through the club’s online and physical channels. This is, as far as the ECHO is aware, a record-breaking financial deal for the Blues.

In addition to owning teams in its home country of Austria (Red Bull Salzburg), Germany (RB Leipzig), the United States (New York Red Bulls), Brazil (Red Bull Bragantino and Red Bull Brasil), and the Championship team Leeds United (after signing on as the Yorkshire club’s shirt sponsor this season), Red Bull also has an undefined minority shareholder stake in the American sports league.

However, the agreement with Everton is comparable to the one reached earlier this week with Premier League rivals Newcastle United in that Red Bull’s distinctive branding will be seen on bottle carriers, bottle coolers, and ice boxes at the team’s Finch Farm training facility in addition to home and away games.

Fans may also catch the brand at Goodison Park on the big screen, on the LEDs near the field, and starting in the 2025–2026 season, at the Blues’ new waterfront stadium, Bramley–Moore Dock.

“We are excited to welcome Red Bull into our partnership portfolio and are really pleased that such a globally renowned and innovative brand has chosen to partner with Everton,” said Richard Kenyon, chief commercial and communications officer of Everton. We have the chance to collaborate on innovative projects and activations by committing to a long-term partnership, especially starting the summer when we move into our new stadium.

“This contract, which is the most recent the team has signed in recent months, demonstrates the commitment and skill of our partnerships team. I want to express my gratitude to everyone at Red Bull and Everton who helped to finalise this long-term agreement before the club enters what will undoubtedly be a historic era.

Since its 1987 inception, Red Bull has expanded to become the best-selling energy drink in the world, with 12.1 billion cans sold worldwide as of 2023. Red Bull’s athletic portfolio now includes the Everton collaboration in addition to the previously mentioned deals in rugby, football, and Formula 1. Red Bull also sponsors individual athletes, artists, and creatives.

The long-term alliance comes after the Blues earlier this summer announced new business agreements with Aramark, Castore, and HPE Aruba. Christopher Ward, meanwhile, expanded their current partnership to become Everton Stadium’s founding partner and the team’s official shirt sleeve partner.
