Materials for Suicide Prevention Month.

Nothing is more courageous than to beg for assistance. Check out these tools that Bears director of wellness Carla Suber has supplied if you or someone you know is experiencing difficulties.

If you’re thinking of taking your own life, call the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Text or call the 988 Crisis Text Line.

Teens and young adults who identify as LGBTQIA can text HOME to 741741 TrevorLifeline.

Text START to 678678 or give 866.488.7386 a call.
If you think someone you know is thinking of taking their own life:

Pose the inquiry, “Are you having thoughts of ending your life?” without fear. Asking this question directly will help you determine the best course of action. Dispelling a myth: Not only does asking the questions give the person a room to communicate and feel less alone, but it also doesn’t plant a seed.
In a private, calm conversation, be straightforward and truthful. Pay attention without passing judgment.
Assure the individual that suicide thoughts are normal and curable. If you’re at ease enough, you could help them get in touch with the right care.

Urge them to get the proper medical assistance. If you suspect suicide, dial 911 right away. An impending circumstance is one in which the person possesses the tools necessary to carry out their attempt, such as a weapon, medication, etc.
Do not leave the person alone if an emergency arises. Find someone who can stay until aid arrives if you are unable to.
Find out what has previously worked for them. Find out whether they have a social network, church group, or therapist they can get in touch with.

Refrain from attempting to solve the issue; lending a secure, understanding ear is sufficient.
When the person calls a resource, such a crisis line or therapist, be there for them. Your presence gives me comfort and encouragement.

Where Caleb Williams Keeps His Heisman Trophy Is Unbelievably Amazing Fans.

Since being selected by the Chicago Bears with the first overall choice, Caleb Williams of USC, has offered fans a more in-depth look at his unconventional demeanor, particularly because his team is also being highlighted on HBO’s Hard Knocks.

Fans Can't Believe Where Caleb Williams Keeps His Heisman Trophy - BVM Sports

Fans are giggling over his latest antics since we recently found out where he keeps his Heisman Trophy.

Instagram users saw Caleb’s trophy displayed on a dresser between two LEGO replicas of the Avengers Tower and a Disney castle.

It’s undoubtedly a disorganized jumble of many ideas, but it perfectly captures Williams’ personality as fans have come to know it thus far.

He has many facets, is modest, and—above all—stays loyal to who he is.

Some younger players have taken a strong interest in Legos; one such athlete is Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers, a center who has practically constructed his own house out of the building blocks.

Williams has shown to be unapologetically himself, and Bears fans will adore him if he proves to be worthy of the first overall pick, despite some fans being critical of him throughout the pre-draft process for things like painting his fingernails or crying with his family in the stands after a loss.

Considering how long the franchise has been around, it seems nearly unbelievable that Chicago has never had a QB record of 4,000 yards or 30 touchdowns in a season.

Before the upcoming season, they may erect a Lego statue of him outside the stadium if he can clear those milestones as a rookie.
