Heat is to be without two key players for at least two months, Erik Spoelstra cried out.
After securing their third consecutive victory on Thursday night against the Atlanta Hawks, the Miami Heat aim to extend their winning streak to four as they face the Philadelphia 76ers. While the team has found new life offensively, their latest injury report could disrupt their recent momentum.
Miami will be without several key players, as announced on their official X account, formerly Twitter. Andrew Wiggins, Duncan Robinson, and Kevin Love have all been ruled out. Additionally, ClutchPoints received further details on their absences and how they may impact the team’s upcoming three-game road trip.
“#MIAvsPHI INJURY UPDATE: Duncan Robinson (left sacroiliac joint dysfunction), Kevin Love (personal reasons), and Andrew Wiggins (hamstring tendinopathy) have all been ruled out of tomorrow night’s game vs the Sixers,” the team posted.
Wiggins, Robinson, Love, Nikola Jovic, and Dru Smith will not travel with the team, but a Heat spokesperson mentioned that Wiggins and Robinson might join the team later in the trip. Wiggins, a recent addition to the Heat, has now missed nine of his first 24 games with Miami, despite averaging nearly 20 points per game.
Heat Missing Key Players Despite Offensive Growth
Led by Tyler Herro’s 36-point performance in their win over the Hawks, Miami will once again rely on Herro and Bam Adebayo to carry the team through this challenging stretch. Head coach Erik Spoelstra noted the team’s offensive improvements during the winning streak, particularly their strong three-point shooting, hitting 68% and 54.5% from deep in their last two games.

“We started seeing the progress take shape three or four weeks ago,” Spoelstra said. “Yes, we had to overcome some fourth-quarter struggles, but looking at the first three quarters, that offense is the vision we’re aiming for. It’s not perfect, and with injuries like Wiggs being out, we’re not making excuses—it’s just reality.”
While Miami is dealing with injuries, Philadelphia faces a similar situation. The 76ers will be without Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, Andre Drummond, Paul George, Eric Gordon, Kyle Lowry, and Kelly Oubre. Despite their recent resurgence, Miami sits at 32-41, currently holding the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference.
