Ohio State Star QB, Projected to Earn $

Ohio State’s summer football camp is still months away, but the quarterback competition is already heating up. Through spring practices, sophomore Julian Sayin has emerged as an early frontrunner for the starting role. However, in an interview with On3’s Spencer Holbrook, Sayin emphasized that he isn’t paying attention to outside speculation.

“I don’t listen to the outside noise,” Sayin said. “I’m just focused on improving every day, preparing for Friday’s practice, and building on what we’ve done so far. My priority is working on fundamentals and applying what Coach Day, Coach Mick, and Coach Fessler are teaching us in the quarterback room.”

Sayin originally committed to Alabama as part of the 2024 recruiting class but transferred to Ohio State after Nick Saban’s retirement. Last season, he appeared in four games for the Buckeyes, completing five of 12 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown.

His main competition for the starting job includes five-star freshman Tavien St. Clair and returning quarterback Lincoln Kienholz. Entering the 2025 season, Sayin’s NIL valuation is projected at $1.1 million, a figure that could rise significantly if he secures the starting role.

Broncos Host Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins for Pre-Draft Visit

According to Ryan Fowler of The Draft Network, the Denver Broncos recently hosted Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins for a top-30 visit ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Each NFL team is allowed to invite up to 30 prospects for pre-draft visits, which serve as in-depth evaluations, including facility tours, meetings with coaches, and workouts. These visits are a crucial part of the scouting process leading up to the draft.

Judkins, one of the top running backs in a deep 2025 draft class, would be a significant addition to Denver’s backfield. The 6’0”, 221-pound back showcased his athleticism at the NFL Combine, posting a 4.48-second 40-yard dash, a 38.5-inch vertical jump, and an 11’0” broad jump.

The former Ole Miss standout transferred to Ohio State and helped lead the Buckeyes to a national championship. In 2024, he played 16 games, rushing 194 times for 1,060 yards and 14 touchdowns while also contributing 22 receptions for 149 yards and two receiving scores.

NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein describes Judkins as a powerful, aggressive runner with the size and endurance to handle a heavy workload. While he thrives on contact and excels in short-yardage situations, his style is more physical than elusive. Some analysts believe he would benefit from pairing with a more explosive, pass-catching back, a strategy Broncos head coach Sean Payton has favored in the past.

Given the depth of this year’s running back class, Judkins is expected to be selected between Denver’s first- and second-round picks. While using the 20th overall pick on him may be a reach, he could be off the board before their second-round selection, making a trade-up scenario a possibility.

The Broncos are likely to evaluate multiple running backs before the draft and may look to select more than one to strengthen their backfield for the 2025 season.
