Josh Allen’s candid response to Joey Bosa’s signing. After being on the receiving end of Joey Bosa’s tackles in the past, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is glad to have him as a teammate. Reflecting on the signing, Allen said, “He’s gotten to me a couple times in my career. Looking forward to him coming in and making an impact on our defense,” per Sal Cappacio. The Bills secured Bosa on a one-year, $12.6 million contract.

The Los Angeles Chargers released Bosa, 29, on Wednesday, ending his run as the franchise’s longest-tenured player. A dominant pass rusher at his peak, Bosa earned four Pro Bowl selections in his first six seasons. While injuries have hampered him in recent years, he still managed to make the Pro Bowl as an alternate in 2024.

Over his career, Bosa has been a game-changer on defense, tallying 343 tackles, 157 quarterback hits, and 87 tackles for loss across 107 regular-season games. He has also forced 17 fumbles, recovered four, and ranks second in Chargers history with 72 career sacks, trailing only Leslie O’Neal’s 105.5.

Bosa’s arrival bolsters an already talented Bills defense, adding veteran leadership and pass-rushing expertise. Buffalo is eager to see how his presence elevates their defensive line, making it even more formidable.

Last season, the Bills’ defense struggled in the playoffs, particularly in stopping the run. Bosa’s ability to step up in crucial moments could provide the edge they need to take the next step.

As Buffalo prepares for the 2025 season, Bosa’s experience will be invaluable. Fans are eager to see how he integrates into the defense and contributes to the team’s playoff push. With his proven skills and determination, Bosa has the potential to be a key factor in the Bills’ pursuit of a championship.
