Report: Ravens Safety Marcus Williams Anticipates Release
Veteran Baltimore Ravens safety Marcus Williams is reportedly expecting to be released, according to ESPN on Friday.
Williams, 28, was benched late last season and ended the year without an interception in 11 games, including nine starts.
In February, the Ravens restructured the five-year, $70 million contract he signed in 2022. Per OverTheCap.com, the restructuring provided Baltimore with $9.9 million in immediate salary cap relief and an additional $2.1 million after June 1. If released, the team would absorb $6.7 million in dead money in both 2025 and 2026.
Williams has recorded 20 career interceptions, 56 passes defended, three forced fumbles, and 469 tackles across 108 games (106 starts) with the New Orleans Saints (2017-21) and the Ravens.
Ravens’ Justin Tucker Again Denies Allegations of Misconduct
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has reiterated his denial of allegations regarding inappropriate conduct at massage parlors and spas, following concerns expressed by Ravens officials.
“I stand by the fact that I have never acted inappropriately during any professional bodywork treatment, nor have I ever been informed that I was unwelcome at any massage therapy provider,” Tucker stated. His comments echoed statements he previously made on social media and through his attorney.

Tucker’s latest response, published on the OutKick website Wednesday, emphasized that he never intended to disrespect anyone, cross any boundaries, or make anyone uncomfortable.
“I am deeply saddened that anyone I have worked with would not have felt respected and valued, both as a professional and as a person. To anyone who has felt otherwise, I sincerely apologize,” Tucker said.
The Baltimore Banner recently reported that an additional seven massage therapists had come forward with accusations against Tucker, bringing the total number of allegations to 16.
The 35-year-old Super Bowl champion has been accused of exposing himself and making inappropriate contact with some therapists between 2012, his rookie season, and 2016.
At the NFL scouting combine on Tuesday, Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta addressed the matter.
“The allegations are serious and concerning,” DeCosta said. “Given the number of accusations, we are fortunate that the league is conducting an investigation. We will wait for as much information as possible and make decisions accordingly.”
