Wave of Top Recruits Set Official Visits to Georgia Football

The official visit season for Georgia football is just around the corner, and while it may seem a bit early, preparations are well underway. During this time, top prospects travel to schools they’re seriously considering—all expenses covered by the university, unlike unofficial visits where recruits cover their own costs.

In college football, official visits typically happen throughout June, with schools hosting major recruiting events every weekend. This year is no different, as Kirby Smart and his staff will begin welcoming top-tier talent starting the weekend of May 30.

Several recruits have already announced plans to visit Athens, with more expected in the coming months. Recently, eight highly sought-after players confirmed their upcoming visits to Georgia:

Official Visits Scheduled:

  • Graham Houston (4-star OT) – June 6-8
  • Breck Kolojay (4-star OL) – June 13-15
  • Rodney Dubar (4-star WR) – June 6-8
  • Caden Harris (4-star CB) – June 6-8
  • Desmond Green (3-star IOL) – May 30 – June 1
  • Bryce Perry-Wright (4-star DL) – June 6-8
  • Brandon Anderson (4-star OT) – May 30 – June 1
  • Kaiden Prothro (5-star TE) – May 30 – June 1

Georgia is set to host a large number of recruits throughout June, but not all will commit to the Bulldogs. Still, several players are expected to pledge their commitment shortly after their visits.

If you’re following recruiting closely, this is the key time to pay attention. The recruits visiting in June are some of Georgia’s top targets who share a strong interest in the program. Best of all, the Bulldogs are likely to secure several commitments during this exciting period.

Georgia football ranks in the top six for the top Hawaiian recruit.

Georgia football, led by Kirby Smart, has shown time and again that it can recruit top talent from anywhere in the country. Distance is never a deterrent for the Bulldogs when pursuing elite prospects—they’ll go wherever necessary to maintain their status as one of the nation’s top programs.

So, when a highly touted recruit emerges in a far-off location like Hawaii, Smart and his staff waste no time getting involved. That’s exactly what they’re doing with one of the top players from the Aloha State, who recently revealed his list of top six schools.

4-Star OT Malakai Lee

Malakai Lee is a four-star offensive tackle from Honolulu, Hawaii. According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, he’s the No. 145 player nationally, the No. 12 offensive tackle in the 2026 class, and the top-ranked prospect from Hawaii.

On Friday, Lee took a big step in his recruitment by naming his top six schools. According to Hayes Fawcett of On3, Georgia made the cut alongside Michigan, BYU, USC, Alabama, and Texas. Official Visits Georgia Football.

Michigan Leads the Race (For Now)

While Georgia remains in the hunt, Michigan appears to be the current favorite. The Wolverines received the only official prediction on 247Sports, logged back in October. However, since that prediction is now several months old, its relevance is uncertain, and Georgia still has a chance to make up ground.

The best way for Georgia to boost its chances is to secure an official visit from Lee this summer. If Kirby Smart and his staff can get him to Athens, they’ll have a real opportunity to convince Lee that Georgia is the perfect fit.
