Wembanyama Spurs sick following . The San Antonio Spurs lost to the Memphis Grizzlies 128-109 on Monday night, dropping them to 21-26 on the season. De’Aaron Fox, who was acquired from the Sacramento Kings in a three-team trade that also included the Chicago Bulls, is joining the Spurs, which is wonderful news.

After going 4-10 since January 1, the Spurs need a shock to remove themselves from the postseason picture for the time being. Even worse, following Monday’s defeat, Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was obviously not himself.

Wembanyama was doubtful going into the game because of an illness, but he played and finished with 27 points and 10 assists in 31 minutes.

Wembanyama claimed that his wind wasn’t there after the game. Although the Spurs star had assumed it was an allergy, he stated that he “must’ve caught something.”

During the broadcast, NBA analyst Nate Duncan also noted that Wembanyama didn’t look like himself.

“He didn’t have his wind tonight, as you could see, and we mentioned it during the broadcast. After just a few trips up and down the floor, you’d see him working,” Duncan wrote on X.
