Todd Monken, the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens, will have a busy weekend because he is getting ready for the Divisional Round matchup with the Buffalo Bills and has head coaching interviews coming up. Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic claims that despite having a lot on his plate, Monken has made it clear that he is only thinking about one thing at the moment.

Regarding head coaching interviews today and tomorrow, offensive coordinator Todd Monken said, “I’ll start by saying this. It is an honor for our group. My entire attention is on the Bills. I adore my current position. Although the system is regrettable, it is what it is. Zrebiec posted on what was once Twitter, X.

Monken will be interviewed by the Chicago Bears and the Jacksonville Jaguars in the near future. Since Monken is in his second season with the Ravens, these will be his first interviews this season. He has transformed the Ravens’ offense into one of the league’s most dynamic over the past two seasons, so it’s no wonder that other teams are intrigued in him.

Monken currently has to worry about how he will overwhelm the Bills’ defense, something he has done before this season.

Ravens' Todd Monken drops harsh truth on head coaching buzz

The Ravens are getting ready for their rematch with the Bills.

When the Ravens and Bills played earlier in the season, Baltimore won 35–10, dominating. Since then, both teams have changed drastically, and this time, there are greater stakes involved. Buffalo will host the Ravens, and the temperature is expected to drop to below freezing. Head coach Jim Harbaugh is already looking for methods to prepare the team before the game.

According to the team’s website, Harbaugh stated, “We have it as cold as we can in here right now, and it will be even colder tomorrow, when I get all the water shut off in here so the pipes don’t freeze.” Because their outside grounds were frozen solid on Wednesday, Baltimore decided to practice indoors. They are keeping the indoor temperatures extremely cold to replicate the circumstances on game day.

Lamar Jackson responded that he would not think about switching up his gear to fight the weather.

“No. Jackson remarked, “I tried [wearing gloves] in practice, [and] I was horrible.” “Hopefully, some heaters will be available on the sidelines. Most likely, I’ll have a larger jacket.

The Ravens shouldn’t have too much of an adjustment because it can get cold in Baltimore at times, and they’ll be ready for anything that comes their way.

Khalil Shakir of the Bills Describes the Ravens’ Strategy for the Playoff Rematch

With memories of John Harbaugh’s team’s Week 4 thumping, the Buffalo Bills will face Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens at Highmark Stadium in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Derrick Henry and company dominated a weak Bills defense as Baltimore dominated in a 35-10 thumping. However, both clubs are suddenly very different as we get into the playoffs.

Since the offense has been playing well and the defense has tightened up over the past month, giving up no more than 23 points in any game, Josh Allen is the front-runner to win MVP for Buffalo. Receiver Khalil Shakir is aware of the strategy this time around to stop Buffalo’s season after reflecting on the Week 4 setback.

“They just executed better than us at the end of the day,” stated Shakir. “They showed up, and even though we didn’t play our best that day, they were the superior team all around. They outperformed us in week four, going beyond simply being in the right place and doing your job. Since then, a lot of time has been spent ensuring that we don’t repeat those same mistakes and that we move quickly from beginning to conclusion.”

Another thread has to be pulled here as well. The Bills, who are 9-0 overall, including this year’s postseason, are at home. Buffalo will feel more confident as a result, and since both offenses feature quarterbacks of MVP caliber, this game will come down to the very last play.

Buffalo is aware of its mistakes from Week 4, but it is one thing to acknowledge your mistakes and take steps to ensure they don’t happen again. Let’s see if the Bills can carry out the strategy they know.
