Alaina Getzenberg reports that before Buffalo fans had the chance to fully celebrate the victory, many expressed concern about an injury when they saw Allen heading into the X-ray room with his trainer.
The good news is that Allen seemed to be fine. He later explained that his visit to the X-ray room was simply a precaution.
“After the game, Josh Allen went to the X-ray room outside the Bills’ locker room, but he mentioned he wanted peace of mind after taking a ‘funky fall,'” reported ESPN’s Jeff Darlington. Once the X-rays were completed, there was no reason for concern. “No bones broken,” Darlington added.
For the record, it appears that Allen took some tough hits while running with the ball several times during the Lions game.
