Mitchell Moses the obvious choice for Parramatta captaincy
Regarding the captaincy, Junior Paulo and Gutherson have previously served as co-captains. However, Ryles claimed that star halfback Mitchell Moses is a “natural leader” and is being considered for the position when he resumes training after playing for the Kangaroos in the Pacific Championships.
“I think we’ll be very clear on that,” Ryles stated, adding that the players will have a significant say in who will be the next captain. “With some assistance from the coaches and myself, they will essentially choose who that will be. That will take place towards the end of January. Some candidates seem clear-cut, yet they may decide they don’t want to participate.
