The Bruins extended their winning streak on Wednesday, but the spotlight was firmly on the ongoing back-and-forth between Brad Marchand and Paul Bissonnette.

The feud began last Friday when the Boston captain humorously clapped back at Bissonnette’s remarks about his hair, referencing a fight the NHL analyst was involved in while in Scottsdale, Arizona. In response, the NHL on TNT crew aired a skit on Wednesday, “suspending” Marchand from the “Mr. TNT” award for a year. Marchand answered in style with a two-goal game, prompting the Bruins’ social media team to join the fun.

After Boston’s 4-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks, the team posted the final score alongside a screenshot of Bissonnette from the skit, where he sported a neck brace and tape on his head. The cheeky post didn’t sit well with Biz, who responded on X with, “Please stop. I have a family.”

Marchand had the final word when he was named “Mr. TNT” for his standout performance, leaving Bissonnette less than thrilled. The feud seems far from over, but Biz has some breathing room—Boston doesn’t appear on TNT again until February 5.

BOSTON — Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov called out Lucas Raymond of the Red Wings for what he perceived as an attempt to sell a penalty late in the second period of Boston’s 3-2 win at TD Garden on Tuesday.

The incident began when Zadorov earned a slashing penalty for hitting Raymond’s hand with his stick. In response, Raymond turned to the official, shaking his hand as if in pain—a gesture Zadorov interpreted as exaggerated.

After the whistle, Zadorov escalated the situation by cross-checking Raymond from behind, sending him to the ice.

“I don’t like when a guy shakes his hand like that. I barely touched him,” Zadorov said. “That kind of thing shouldn’t be in the league. This is a men’s league. We all get slashed, we’re all in pain, but you don’t act like that to draw the ref’s attention. I thought it was disrespectful, so I went after him.”

Despite his reaction, Zadorov, who notched a goal and 12 penalty minutes in the game, avoided additional punishment for the cross-check.
