In terms of selecting the team’s starting quarterback, the Georgia Bulldogs have a history of promoting from within. Rumor has it, however, that Georgia may use the college football transfer site to locate its next quarterback. One possible possibility to enter the 2025 NFL draft is Carson Beck. Beck is not included in Luke Easterling’s most recent first-round mock draft from Athlon Sports.

According to ESPN’s Matt Miller, the Georgia quarterback still has a chance to be selected early on the second day. It is realistic to assume that Beck might regain his place in the first-round discussion with the help of a strong College Football Playoff run.

Pete Nakos of On3.com has identified Oklahoma Sooners standout Jackson Arnold as a potential option for Georgia’s quarterback position. Arnold, a former five-star recruit, is one of the most high-profile players entering the college football transfer portal.

“Sources confirmed to On3 on Wednesday that Jackson Arnold plans to enter the transfer portal,” Nakos reported on December 5. “The former Five-Star Plus+ prospect and top-five quarterback will attract plenty of interest.”

Nakos highlighted Auburn, Mississippi State, and Georgia as early contenders for Arnold’s commitment. He noted, “Georgia’s quarterback situation for 2025 remains uncertain, making Arnold a logical addition to compete with Gunner Stockton.”

It will probably be a costly decision if Georgia decides to pursue Arnold. Arnold’s NIL worth is estimated by On3.com to be $1.3 million.
