The Buffalo Bills had a 9-2 record going into the bye week after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 30-21. After a well-earned rest, the Bills will play the San Francisco 49ers on “Sunday Night Football.”

The Bills have a chance to win the AFC East for the seventh time in a row if they defeat the 49ers, as the Miami Dolphins previously lost to the Green Bay Packers in Week 13. A tremendous snowfall struck the Buffalo area amid the hoopla leading up to the Bills’ primetime matchup.

Dawson Knox, a tight end with the Bills who is anticipated to be crucial versus San Francisco due to Dalton Kincaid’s absence, is accustomed to playing in subfreezing weather and deep snow.

Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Bills, told reporters about playing in inclement weather: “I’m the one who’s done it enough.” Regardless of the weather conditions that are thrown at us, I feel completely at ease.”

Knox’s wife, Alexandra Knox, is getting ready to support the Bills in the dazzling lake-effect snowfall. But even Buffalo native Alexandra was surprised by the scorching storm.

“It has begun,” the fitness instructor said on social media as she left the couple’s home. There was snow all over the Knoxes’ yard. Players might want assistance exiting their driveways, even though the Bills hired snow shovelers to help clear Highmark Stadium prior to the “Sunday Night Football,” matchup.

Those who intended to attend the game on Sunday night in Orchard Park were issued a strong cautionary warning. “This is going to be concerning for people trying to travel to the football game,” stated Mark Poloncarz, the executive of Erie County, during a press conference. We don’t anticipate a postponement of the game or anything like. The game continues. There have been colder games.

“[But] individuals must be ready. This is the season’s first true cold. This is unlike anything we’ve experienced this year.”

The Bills have more experience playing in the snow than the 49ers, but the snowy conditions could be a disadvantage. Since Sean McDermott took over as head coach in 2017, they have also gone undefeated after a bye week.
