There are divisional ramifications in the huge game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. At 1:00 PM Eastern, Pittsburgh (7-2) will play Baltimore (7-3).

But before kickoff, Baltimore had some very big news to share.

The Ravens make a huge announcement before their game against the Steelers.

Baltimore’s official website states:

In a contest for the top spot in the AFC North, star safety Kyle Hamilton announced that he will play on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A week after suffering an ankle injury against the Bengals, Hamilton resumed practice on Thursday and was fully active on the field on Friday. He does not have an injury designation.

Before the game, Hamilton stated, “I think it was big for me to get out and at least do a full practice.” “I feel good, and the trainers did a good job getting me back to health.”

Hamilton plays a variety of roles and is essential to slowing down Pittsburgh’s explosive offense, which has averaged over 30 points per game for the last three games since Russell Wilson took over as the starting quarterback. The Ravens’ 32nd-ranked secondary needs him.

In addition to sacks, tackles for loss, and forced fumbles, Hamilton leads the team in tackles (71) and defensed passes (seven). According to Pro Football Focus, he is the best defense in Baltimore.

“I believe that I will play if I am capable of doing so. Hamilton remarked, “I think it’s necessary to play through pain or whatever—not that I am right now.

We are only given a few of these games. Every single one of these matters, especially this one [with a] division opponent on the road. It’s not like we’re in the NBA or MLB. I believe I was simply brought up with the motto, “If you can go, go,” and I want to be as available as possible for my team. I’ll do that, then.

Who are the officials and announcers for today’s Steelers vs. Ravens game?

Aspects of football include confusing officiating and dubious calls. Regretfully, certain calls have the potential to alter the game’s outcome or advance a story. The Steelers’ victory over the Commanders in Week 10 demonstrated this.

A contentious fourth-down spot decision that favored Pittsburgh in the game’s final seconds overshadowed a thrilling back-and-forth contest. Everyone wants to be able to discuss the game rather than the refereeing.

One of CBS’ best broadcast crews is attending this week’s Steelers vs. Ravens game, and a head official hasn’t seen many home team victories in 2024. These are the refs and announcers for the game today.

Head referee (Crew Chief) for the Steelers vs. Ravens game

Clay Martin’s officiating staff will be present during today’s game. This season has been a little out of the ordinary for Martin. The home team has only won 12.5% of its games this season when Martin is refereeing, despite the fact that the head referee has called 49 penalties against the home team and 54 against the away team.

For the Pittsburgh Steelers, who visit the Ravens today, this isn’t encouraging on paper. Per game, Martin’s team calls 12.88 penalties, which is marginally more than the league average of 12.77. This team is also averaging 107.38 penalty yards per game, which is around five yards more than the NFL average.

Martin’s 2024 record does not bode well for the home team’s chances of winning today.
