Jackson was once good.
The reason for Jackson’s decision to not join the Pittsburgh team is unknown. The 30-year-old player reads the announcement as a humiliation. Jackson was a healthy scratch for the Ravens’ game against the Denver Broncos in Week 9. (Denver would lose 41–10 to Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium.)
To be honest, Jackson’s abilities seem to be rapidly declining in the NBA.
In the 2019 season, Jackson was named to the Chicago Bears’ All-Pro team. He has appeared in two Pro Bowls. According to Over The Cap, Jackson signed a one-year contract with the Ravens worth $1.5 million prior to the 2024 season. For his 2024 performance, the former Alabama standout received an overall grade of 50.6 from Pro Football Focus.
Jackson is credited with four stops and 23 total tackles. He has also failed to make five tackles. Jackson has given opponents’ quarterbacks a rating of 144.9.
