That hasn’t stopped some people from making predictions about how the team could further enhance their lineup, though.
Micah Hyde, a safety who spent seven years with the organization before they chose not to re-sign him in free agency this past winter, is one player who has been mentioned frequently throughout the season. Since Hyde is still a free agent, reporters recently asked quarterback Josh Allen what he felt about bringing the All-Pro safety back to Buffalo at a press conference.
“I’ve talked with him a little bit, checked in with him a little bit,” Allen stated. “I adore that man. What you want me to say there is unclear to me. I have no ideas or solutions regarding it. I believe that our team is now playing some pretty great football, particularly on the defensive end of the ball. However, I believe that everyone in this locker room would embrace him if the chance to have him back ever presented itself.”
Hyde was a two-time second-team All-Pro and a one-time Pro Bowler during his seven seasons with the Bills. For the majority of the season, the Bills have relied on Taylor Rapp and Damar Hamlin at safety, but it wouldn’t hurt to bolster their secondary.
With the most recent injury list update going into Week 11, the Bills suffer yet another setback.

With Kincaid gone, Bills supporters may anticipate seeing more of Quintin Morris and Dawson Knox in the red zone. It’s devastating for Buffalo to lose Kincaid and Coleman. In addition, the Bills have Khalil Shakir as their real top target coming into Sunday’s game if Amari Cooper is unable to play because he is still classified as questionable.
