Simone Biles, a gymnast from the United States, made headlines Thursday night when she and her husband Jonathan Owens attended the Chicago Bulls game. The duo is in town in advance of the Chicago Bears vs. New England Patriots NFL game at Soldier Field on Sunday.
Biles, Owens’ wife, frequently attends games to support her husband, who plays safety for the Bears. The same is true for Owens, who publicly backed Biles during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris when she won gold in the vault, team individual all-around, and team all-around competitions.
Biles, one of the greatest athletes of all time, is praised and supported by the sports community. This includes a recent Instagram comment from Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, who addressed the 11-time Olympic medallist with a forceful two-word message. Reese just finished her first season in the WNBA, averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds over 34 games for the Sky. Reese finished second in the Rookie of the Year voting, behind Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, and broke the WNBA’s single-season rookie double-double record.
Reese has been a sensation since her days at LSU, and her fame goes beyond women’s basketball. Although not much is known about the relationship between the 6-foot-3 forward and Biles, Reese’s Instagram comment was quite flattering. The forward has public friendships with famous celebs.
