During Sunday’s Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Denver Broncos game, the officials were rather busy. Undoubtedly, the Steelers triumphed 13–6, but it was a nasty game of football.
Three of the 78 yards that Pittsburgh was penalized for on a single drive went to offensive tackle Broderick Jones. He was being watched by the authorities at that moment, even if we were to argue that the previous holding call was too soft to call.
Head coach Mike Tomlin thought that Jones had to be benched in favor of youngster Troy Fautanu because of the numerous violations, and Jones never came back. When questioned about the circumstances and the fines, Tomlin provided the most accurate and straightforward response he was able to. Tomlin shot back, “You got it,” to close the press conference.
It’s unclear if Jones will play against the Los Angeles Chargers again the following week.
After the Steelers’ dominating victory over the Chargers, NFL fans laud Justin Fields as their quarterback.
Although there is still plenty of competition among NFL fans for the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback position after just three weeks of play, one thing seems to be clear: Justin Fields is the team’s future.
Fields was 24-of-32 for 245 yards and one touchdown against one interception on Sunday, leading the Steelers to a 20-10 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. Fields also had a 96.0 passer rating. Fields looked amazing throwing downfield to his receivers and making big plays with his legs against a formidable Chargers pass rush.
Calvin Austin was located by Fields on a dart in the middle of the field, and Austin ran to the end zone for a 55-yard touchdown, making it one of the Steelers’ most exciting plays of the fourth quarter.
Despite the fact that Joey Bosa and Justin Herbert were sidelined for a large portion of the game by injury, the Steelers looked like a serious AFC contender and started the season 3-0, which is a first for Fields in his short career.
Fans of the NFL hailed Fields for his outstanding performance as the Steelers’ starting quarterback in Week 3, saying he should keep the position no matter what happened to Russell Wilson.
Say it today Mike T!!
“Justin Fields is our starter going forward. We have found our guy.”
Let’s not play this game anymore. Love Russ, but this isn’t about him. The young man has shown he is capable. What a difference situation makes.

Will yall finally believe me about Justin Fields. It’s always been there. He works too hard & is too humble not to succeed.
Maybe he finally found a franchise that believes in him pic.twitter.com/3CJeZ6RVFT
