Wide receiver Keenan Allen of the Chicago Bears (1-1) might be out for a second straight week, according to information supplied by head coach Matt Eberflus on Wednesday. Allen has been battling with plantar fasciitis, thus he was unable to play against the Houston Texans in Week 2.

In an interview with reporters on Wednesday, Eberflus stated that the seasoned receiver was not in practice and that he has no set date to return to the field. Observe us on Facebook. In the first game of the Chicago Bears’ season, Allen caught four passes for 29 yards against the Tennessee Titans. Although Allen hasn’t been officially declared out of Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts (0-2), Rome Odunze, Tyler Scott, and DeAndre Carter should be able to fill in for him if he is out again.

Before the next game, the Bears are keeping an eye on a few more injuries in addition to Allen’s. Together with defensive tackle Zacch Pickens (groin) and fullback Khari Blasingame (knee), left guard Teven Jenkins (deep thigh bruise) did not practice on Wednesday. With a 73.0 overall grade from Pro Football Focus after two games, Jenkins has been the most productive offensive lineman. The grade of every other offensive lineman is below 70. Those in their 30s are extremely poor, those in their 90s are excellent, and a grade of 60.0 is deemed ordinary.

Going back to last week, Blasingame skipped practice for the third day in a row on Wednesday. He was declared ineligible for the game against the Texans last weekend. Pickens hurt his groin against Houston, and it’s unclear if he’ll be ready for Sunday’s game.
