The offensive line is a major obstacle for the New England Patriots as they prepare for their Thursday night game against the New York Jets. Officially ruled out are two of quarterback Jacoby Brissett’s primary protectors.
The Patriots are trying to shore up their line against the fierce Jets defense, and these absences come at a crucial moment. According to Pro Football Talk, left guard Sidy Sow and left tackle Vederian Lowe will miss the next game. Due to a knee injury acquired during last Sunday’s game, Lowe was unable to complete, raising possible questions about the line’s capacity to withstand forceful defensive actions.
Patriots Football Player Was Arrested For Assault After Allegedly Hitting An Elderly Man.
Former NFL fullback Patrick Pass, who played with Tom Brady for seven seasons in New England, was taken into custody on Wednesday after it was alleged that he assaulted an elderly man during a fight at the gym last month.
Police reported that the incident happened at a Planet Fitness in North Providence, Rhode Island, back on August 28, according to NBC 10 WJAR.
Authorities assert that the 46-year-old former football player shoved an 82-year-old man to the ground following an altercation about workout equipment. According to the authorities, the man’s back was hurt during the altercation.
According to court documents, Pass was charged with two crimes: one count of disorderly conduct and one count of felony assault inflicting bodily injury to an individual over 60.
Pass will now appear before a judge in January to discuss the case.
Along with Brady, Pass was drafted by the Patriots in the 2000 New England class. He played for Foxborough until 2006, during which he won three Super Bowls.
He finished his career with 4 touchdowns overall, 570 receiving yards, and 526 rushing yards.
The Patriots’ passing game is having issues.
Who is mostly to blame for the passing offense’s problems following yet another unimpressive passing performance in the Patriots’ Week 2 loss to the Seattle Seahawks? Brissett, Jacoby? The front line of attack? The wide receivers? The trainers?
