Harris posted $10 bail for each charge before being released.

This season, Harris has made appearances in both of Georgia’s games and has accumulated four tackles. As a freshman, he participated in six games and made one tackle.

Twenty-one Georgia football players have been detained since January 2023 on suspicion of speeding, reckless driving, and operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, according to a July article by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. A Bulldogs athlete was recently arrested on suspicion of family violence.

Without a doubt, Kirby Smart has turned Georgia football into one of the top programs in the nation, but the two-time national champion coach has come under fire for the problems Bulldogs players have had off the field. The most recent arrest will only intensify that criticism.
